There is only one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father (Creator), as Son Jesus Christ (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (Indwelling Spirit). Jesus Christ is God incarnate (manifested in flesh). Jesus is both God and man. Jesus is the only name by which we must be saved. (See Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16; Acts 4:12)
The Bible is the inspired, infallible (accurate), and authoritative written Word of God. The Bible is our absolute guide for salvation and Christian living. The Word of God must be acted upon and lived, not just heard. (See II Timothy 3:15-17; Ephesians 3:5; II Peter 3:2)
Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, based on the atoning (to make amends) sacrifice of Jesus Christ upon the cross. If we respond to God in faith and obedience, then we can receive forgiveness and salvation from sin. (See Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)
The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel by repentance or committing to turn away from sin (symbolizing death to sin), water baptism by immersion (to be dipped or momentarily submerged under water) with the name of Jesus Christ spoken over you (symbolizing a burial of the old sinful man), and the infilling of the Holy Spirit which is initially evidenced (proven) by speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance or ability (symbolizing resurrection or arising to walk in and live a new and better life). (See I Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4, 37-39; Romans 6:3-4)
As Christians we are to love God and others unconditionally. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, separating ourselves from things that displease God and bring hurt / pain to ourselves or others; the power and love we have on the inside should manifest, be shown and demonstrated on the outside. We worship / praise God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, still happen today. (See Mark 12:28-31; II Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; I Corinthians 12:8-10)
Jesus Christ is coming again (returning to Earth) to catch away His church (take those that are saved to heaven). In the end (finale of time) will be the final resurrection (everyone being taken from the Earth) and the final judgment (everyone receiving due wages / reward for their thoughts, words, and actions). The righteous (right with Christ) will inherit (receive) eternal life (never ending peace), and the unrighteous (wicked or intentionally sinning / disobedient to God’s Word) will earn (receive) eternal death (never ending misery). (See I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15)
